Baltimore
As some of you know, I was born in Baltimore (and still have a ton of family in the area!) Growing up, I had cousins who lived super close to BWI, and that was our preferred airport for many years.
Getting there
45 minutes by car from D.C. and about an hour and a half from Philadelphia. The MARC train and Amtrak serve Penn Station, and BWI airport is minutes from downtown.
Best time to visit
Spring and fall are ideal: mild weather, outdoor festivals and fewer crowds. Winter is quieter and more affordable; summers are hot and humid.
