A gorgeous, old Hollywood town just 20 minutes north of downtown Los Angeles, best known for its gardens, museums and cafes. Spring is my favorite time to go.

Best time to visit

Spring for the gardens. March is the end of the rainy season, and May Grey can bring cool, cloudy mornings, so pack layers.
