The Fall Crop With Cleavitz

As much as I love an amazing printed piece and my statement items, I realized something over the last few months: I was majorly lacking in the basics. What good is a closet full of wild prints and crazy textures if you don’t have a good solid to pair with them?

Enter: Cleavitz. This Maryland-based brand carries the one piece I needed to finish off my wardrobe. Cleavitz has signature, patented crop tops that are ideal layering pieces for shirts and they look just as fabulous on their own with high-waisted skirts and shorts.

For this look, I decided to rock my Cleavitz crop top underneath one of my favorite printed shirts. I love this as a layering piece because it doesn’t ride or slide: it stays completely put. And trust me, we all own that one crop top that rides a little too high for comfort, right? Their unique patented design features a length longer in the front and shorter in the back so it stays in place and doesn’t ride up. There’s no tugging and adjusting like a camisole or tank top.

My favorite thing about Cleavitz is that all of their products are made in the USA (in the D.C. area, to be exact!) For those of you who are a bit more daring than I am, Cleavitz comes in 4 styles (cotton, lace, shimmer and velvet), 6 sizes (XS-XXL) and plenty of other colors that are a bit more daring than black. When it warms up again, I plan on stocking up for music festival season!

Layer it, Leave it, Love it. I can’t wait to scoop up more Cleavitz crop tops in different textures and colors! Want a few tops of your own? I’m giving away a $75 gift card to one lucky reader! Enter below. Bon chance!

  1. I found myself in a similar situation not too long ago, and then cleaned out most of my closet that was not basics related, haha!
