city girl, meet nature.

It’s no secret that I’m the ultimate city girl. After being born in Baltimore, going to school in Philly and completing two internships in New York City, I’m simply used to a fast paced, bustling lifestyle. I’ll admit, out of all the places I’ve lived Richmond has the slowest pace of them all, but this is something I’m learning to enjoy more and more.

dress- free people, booties -bakers, socks –free people, headband – claire’s

“Downtown” Richmond has some surprisingly quiet, quaint little areas. One of my favorite spots I’ve explored recently is Byrd Park. It’s such a calm area of town that’s only minutes away from campus. This is the perfect spot to get away from the hustle and bustle of downtown life (or perhaps to channel your inner bohemian.)
