Guys, blogging is weird. Because I have to think ahead and develop my editorial calendar weeks/months ahead of time, I have a bad habit of always looking toward the future. That means I’m pretty much holiday ready at this point. Don’t tell anyone, but I’ve already put up Christmas decorations in my apartment. No disrespect to Thanksgiving, but I’m already in a pretty festive mood.

I love this skirt because it’s perfect for the holidays, but it’s also a classic plaid that you can rock all fall/winter long. I still haven’t found the perfect OTK boots yet since my ballerina calves are disproportionate to the rest of my legs, so I cheated by rocking a pair of over the knee socks and ankle booties. A super affordable life hack, y’all.

Love the outfit, kinda reminds me of something from Clueless.

  5. Love those boots!! Booties are ubiquitous this year, but I have the hardest time finding styles that don’t eliminate my ankles and turn my legs into thick stumps!

    Blogging IS totally weird! Agreed!

The over the knee sock/ankle boot styling is a cute idea! I have a few styling clients with larger calfs who might just try that out! Thanks for the inspo!
