The cool thing about fashion blogging? Some of you guys look to me for style advice. The bad part about fashion blogging? Always having to be “on”.
Every summer I kind of get stuck in a bit of a fashion rut: it’s super humid on the east coast so I’m a bit limited on what’s comfortable to wear outside, I end up wearing the same pieces over and over again. I was scrolling through my Instagram feed and saw that I was wearing something off the shoulder in a ridiculous amount of posts, and that’s when I knew: I’ve hit my rut.
Don’t get me wrong: I still love the off the shoulder trend. However, I’m just trying to wear it a little less, and play with other trends like jumpsuits, or one shoulder pieces from this point forward. Maybe even play with different fabrics, like silk or linen. I’m still planning on rocking this fun chambray ruffle romper though, I wore it when I was out in Arizona and it kept me pretty comfortable in the Phoenix heat!
I feel ya girl. Luckily I just got these shoes too SO I’m glad I got some outfit inspo 😉

Love this romper! I totally hear you girl, I get into those style ruts all. the. time. Mainly, it’s because here in Miami, it’s basically all summer, all the time. So it’s a constant stream of summer outfits. YEAR ROUND. UGH. In any case, seeing this cute look, no one would ever know you were in a rut! haha! xx
