Our summers are getting hotter and longer, and here in the Mid-Atlantic, our “fall” is pretty short. It feels like it goes from 80 degrees to 40 degrees overnight! I’ll never forget in November of 2017, I went on an 11-day trip, and it was 75 degrees the day I left, and it dropped to 45 degrees the day I came back. Sometimes, we just go straight from summer to winter!
So, how do you dress for fall when it’s still a bajillion degrees out? I love all things leopard fashion because it’s a trend that you can wear year-round. If you purchase anything leopard right now, it will transition from summer to fall with ease.
Here are ten leopard fashion pieces that can carry you to the next season, make sure to scroll down to the end of the post to see them all!
Fun fact about me? I got my first pair of glasses when I was six years old. Both of my parents wear glasses, so it was inevitable that I would need them as well!
When I was 13, I decided to start wearing contact lenses — and I’m not going to lie, for the longest time I thought glasses made me look a bit dorky. Teenagers are the worst, right? However, as I got older, I realized that the right pair of glasses could make a fashion statement.
Ah, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale: not to sound like a broken blogger record, but it is one of the best sales of the year (seriously!) It’s incredible because you can shop brand new fall arrivals at a serious discount, and Nordstrom carries some of my favorite brands.
The #NSale is now open to Nordstrom credit card holders today, starting at 12:30 PM EST, and it is open to the public on July 19th. I personally use the sale to stock up some things I hate to buy full price: jeans, shoes, and designer handbags. I’ll be making a few posts during the sale throughout the next couple of weeks, but don’t worry: I won’t bombard you with it! I don’t want to pressure you into buying a whole bunch of things you don’t need. Make a list of what items you’re looking for: whether it be denim, workwear, investment pieces, coats, etc. Prioritize what’s essential for you, and stick to your budget!
To kick things off, I wanted to share some picks from the sale that are under $100. Above are some pieces that I think will sell out pretty quickly, based on what items have been top sellers during previous sales. I tried on this Madewell Stripe Cardigan yesterday, and it’s my #1 pick of the sale. It’s so soft IRL, and I love the color block details. Also, these Spanx Faux Leggings are 100% worth the hype. They managed to suck my belly in, yet they’re super comfortable and something I can see myself wearing for several hours.
