Jacket: Free People via Octer | Top: Free People | Jeans: Madewell | Boots: Vince Camuto | Bag: Tory Burch
One of the things I love the most about is D.C. has to be the Smithsonian museums. I grew up in the area, and it was a blast going on dozens of field trips to museums that were completely free! Once I moved away for college and realized that most museums weren’t free, I was in a little bit of shock. What can I say? You’re pretty spoiled as a kid growing up in this area!
One Smithsonian museum I hadn’t visited was the Steven F. Udvar-Hazy Center out near Dulles. It’s a little bit of a drive, but it was totally worth it to see space shuttles, WWII fighter jets and the infamous Supersonic plane. If you have a car and some spare time on the weekend, definitely make your way out there — and grab Willard’s BBQ for lunch!
Since it was unseasonably warm when I went, I wore a Free People jacket from Nordstrom I found via Octer. It’s a really neat site where I can shop all of my favorite brands at once, such as Topshop, ASOS, Nordstrom and more! It’s a great way to shop by a certain style as well; for example, I can search for midi dresses among all of the retailers that they carry, rather than looking at each individual website. Pretty neat, huh?
Jealousy! I have always wanted to go to the Smithsonian and see the space shuttle.
Love your jacket too!
By the way, I’m hosting a blogger linkup on my blog today. I’d love for you to come share a post!

It seems awesome! I love going to museums! Here, most museums are free as well, I’m so glad. And your jacket is really pretty as well.
