Bubbly Piña Colada

Tropical Drink Recipe Idea

While those of us in the Mid-Atlantic are preparing for snow this weekend, I figured now would be the perfect time to share a fun tropical drink recipe. Think warm thoughts this weekend, right?

I partnered with Malibu and Dole for an Instagram Post for New Year’s Eve, and since I loved the way the photos turned out, I figure I would do a blog post as well sharing the drink recipe. Please note that I was in no way, shape or form obligated to do a blog post as a part of the project; I’m doing this organically!

It’s been a while since I’ve shared a cocktail recipe on here: I shared my last one in 2017 (whoops!) I was a bit overwhelmed with Instagram projects last year to take the time to create these, but let me tell you: cocktail recipes are some of my favorite posts to create. I’m hoping to share at least one recipe post a month on the blog in 2019!

Let me introduce you to the Bubbly Piña Colada. If you still have some sparkling left over from New Year’s Eve (or if you’re like me and always have a bottle of sparkling in the fridge), this is a fun, easy cocktail to whip up for your next party or girl’s night. Full disclaimer: this drink is on the sweet side, so if you don’t have much of a sweet tooth, I would skip this one!

If you need me, I’ll be sipping on these in preparation for my vacation to Hawaii in a few weeks! This drink is fruity, refreshing, and doesn’t require that many ingredients.
