I’m going to keep this short and sweet because I’m currently on a press trip to Boston (see more in my IG Stories — we’ve got a lot of fun things planned over the next few days!)

You know what the weirdest thing is about being a full-time blogger? Thinking you can do it all. I was shocked when I first started doing this full-time and ended up pulling 60-hour work weeks. I had all the time in the world to get things done, I thought. Why am I still getting up super early, going to bed super late, and working on weekends?

I was spending a lot of time behind the computer negotiating collaborations, and not as much time producing content and interacting with my readers — which is an essential part of my job.

I’m so happy to announce that I’ve added two new people on to my team. Corbin is my brand manager and has saved my life over the last few months regarding helping me negotiate brand partnerships. It’s been a sigh of relief to be able to step away from my computer a bit more and create content, and doing a little less back and forth with brands for collaborations.

Second, I have a great assistant helping me out with social media. She’s just starting out, but I see her role growing a bit more over the years!

I felt silly asking for help for the longest time, but I’m excited for this next chapter in life, and I adore my current team. Now I can get back to what’s important: creating content for you all!

Have you ever considered hiring an assistant or brand manager?
