Happy Friday, friends! Now that the weekend is upon us, I wanted to round up some of the best coffee shops, juiceries, bars and restaurants that I’ve visited in the last couple of months. I’m hoping to eventually create a massive D.C. travel guide for you all (let me know your thoughts on that!), but as for now, here’s what I’m loving this fall.
La Colombe (U Street)
I visit La Colombe whenever I visit Philly (their Fishtown location is off the charts), but I absolutely love their new shop in the Manhattan Laundry building in the U Street corridor! It’s super cozy, the coffee is absolutely delicious, and it’s a great place to either get work done, go on a first date, or host a quick business meeting.

Le Diplomate’s LâApero Happy Hour
Le Dip has been one of my favorite spots for both brunch and dinner for years — it’s a go-to for me if I ever want to go on a nice date, or if I have friends coming from out of town! For the locals, they have launched a L’Apero Happy Hour from 4-5 every Monday-Friday which is an absolute dream. I hope they change the hours in the future and extend it to 6 or 7 for those of us who work full-time, but if you’re free during that hour, I’d highly recommend it!
JRINK’s New Clarendon Shop
The coolest think about JRINK’s new shop in Clarendon is that it actually has a drive-thru. I know, a drive-thru in North Arlington is pretty unheard of, let alone a healthy one! JRINK has multiple locations in D.C. as well if you don’t feel like crossing the river, and I highly recommend their “Black Magic” juice. It has activated charcoal that is a lifesaver on those sluggish Sunday mornings!
Wicked Bloom
Wicked Bloom is an awesome bar/restaurant that would be perfect for date night or catching up with friends! I recently tried their fall menu, and boy oh boy: the Maryland in me was loving it! They have Old Bay Deviled Eggs, super fresh oysters and the tastiest cocktails around. Wicked Bloom is closer to the NoMA/Bloomingdale area, and another great reason to check out that part of town!
What are your favorite DC eats at the moment?

I was just in the DC area, but we never actually got into DC. We were mostly in the country, enjoying fall (which was beautiful!!) but I visit DC at least once a year, so I’ll have to start adding these to the list đ xx adaatude.com
