If you follow me on Twitter or Snapchat you might know this already, but I’m getting surgery on my arm and elbow later this month because I have both cubital and carpal tunnel syndrome. I’m getting the surgery two days before Christmas, and lucky for me, I’ll be in a big ol’ bandage and splint until the first week of January! Who else is spending New Years Eve in sweatpants?
I live for holiday fashion, and normally I rock sequins, fringe getups, and the most festive attire. I still have a few holiday parties with friends and the office party before my surgery, however, it’s not really practical for me to buy a crazy getup this year since I don’t have any major events.
One way I’m staying festive this year is adding way more bling to my everyday outfits. I figure this year I could let my jewelry sparkle and shine for me, rather than buying a sequin outfit I’m only going to wear once!
I’ve been a fan of Baublebar for a few years now — their jewelry is incredibly affordable, and it’s great for every type of girl: whether you gravitate toward dainty jewels like I do or if you enjoy a good statement piece, there’s something for everyone at Baublebar. Here are a few pieces that I’m absolutely digging from Baublebar this season!
Another blinged out piece I’m loving this season? It’s the Baublebar x Vaseline Bejeweled Lip Therapy Original Jar! Now that winter is right around the corner, my lips are getting incredibly dry and my normal chapstick really isn’t cutting it. I’ve used the normal Vaseline lip therapy for years and I love it; it lasts me for several hours and it does a fantastic job at moisturizing my dry lips!
I was super excited about this Baublebar x Vaseline collab: it’s a great size for a girl on the go, and it really makes an impression when I pull it out of my purse (pro tip: I would keep it in a vase or a little pouch to protect the crystals!) This would be a super fun gift for any special lady, or a great gift for yourself!
