Guys: my biggest piece of advice is if ain’t broke, don’t fix it. If you find a silhouette that works for your body, run with it.
In my case, let me introduce you to the fit and flare dress. This silhouette has been my jam for years; since I really don’t have that many natural curves, something accentuating my waist works wonders. When I saw this dress at Banana, I kind of fell in love. I put it on in the fitting room and knew I wasn’t going to take this bad boy off. I had entered into a relationship with a dress. I think it’s going to be a long term relationship. I’ll make sure to post a save-the-date on the blog when we get hitched.
I added my new favorite leather jacket and a fun pair of heels to give this dress a little more edge, but this would also look great with a denim jacket and flats dressed down.
