A Night at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner

First things first: you might have noticed my mini makeover! What do you think of the new hairdo? This is the first time I’ve had straight hair in 4 years, so this is definitely an adjustment for me! I’m really liking it so far. I also decided to go a little darker in terms of color for winter.
A makeover wasn’t my only highlight this past weekend. The folks at The Ritz Carlton, Tysons Corner invited me to stay and dine at their restaurant Entyse. I couldn’t ask for a better “staycation” in the D.C. area. The staff was amazing and made us feel right at home, the site was gorgeous, and dinner was absolutely delicious. I wore this Nordstrom x Topshop dress for dinner:

What I love about The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner is that it is very traditional. I’ve stayed in super modern, sleek hotels before, but I appreciated how classic and timeless this chain is. However, there were a few some convenient modern touches, including mobile check-in, being able to text the valet for your car and an ipod deck in each room.
I’m also a huge fan of the fact that the hotel is connected to Tyson’s Galleria. World class shopping was right at your fingertips! After an afternoon of shopping, I was delighted to come back to a bottle of wine and a delicious cheese plate in my room!
Later on in the evening, me and my guest had dinner at Entyse Wine Bar & Lounge, located right inside the hotel. Dinner was amazing, to say the least! Their drink selection was out of this world. My guest and I enjoyed a few seasonal martinis (Pumpkin Spice and Caramel Apple flavored) and live Latin music.
For dinner, I chose a filet mignon and a berry cheesecake. They had a few other unique, unexpected dishes on the menu, such as Shrimp Pad Thai, but I stuck to the classics (they were absolutely amazing, by the way! Best cheesecake I’ve ever had)
I’m definitely planning another staycation at The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner. It was the perfect little weekend getaway for yourself and a friend or a date. They’re hosting plenty of events this season, perfect for those who just want to take a quick day trip. You can check out their calendar of events here

Disclosure: The Ritz-Carlton, Tysons Corner provided a room and meals for myself and a guest. All opinions are my own and experiences are genuine.
