A Day at the Winery

This weekend I attended my very first Southern Blog Society meet up at Greenhill Winery in Middleburg, VA. First off, everyone in the SBS is super sweet and I’m obsessed with them all, and second, I fell in love with Greenhill while visiting. It’s only an hour away from D.C. and a nice little escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. I got majorly excited being able to see the Blue Ridge Mountains in the distance (I’m a city girl, okay? Not used to mountain ranges!) The wines were absolutely delicious; I highly recommend the Sparkling Blanc de Blancs and the Philosophy!

This was also my very first trip to a winery ever, but it certainly won’t be my last! I’m already looking forward to my next trip to Greenhill. It was a bit windy the day of our winery trip, so I opted for a pair of jeans (yes, I’m actually not wearing a dress or skirt!) and my new favorite Free People vegan leather jacket.

  1. I love being able to see the mountains, too! It’s so flat where I live.
