I love hosting a good Friendsgiving and Thanksgiving dinner, but my hosting options are limited after relocating to LA and downsizing to a smaller apartment. Since we’re short on space and time this year, we plan to go out to eat and let someone else do the cooking.

We just made reservations to go out for Thanksgiving dinner in LA this past week, but it was so hard to choose just one dinner. There were so many incredible options! I also love that by going out to dinner this year, we can switch things up and try non-traditional Thanksgiving dishes.

If you’re in LA and are also looking to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner out, here are the seven best places in town for Thanksgiving dinner.

1. Fia

We went to Fia for Thanksgiving last year and absolutely loved our experience — so much so that we’re going again this year. Fia offers a four-course, pre-fix menu for $95/person, including a fantastic selection of mains, pies, and sweets. We were stuffed last year and thought it was an incredible value — plus, the atmosphere was chic.

Spaces are limited; reserve your spot for Thanksgiving here.

2. Charcoal (Venice and Sunset)

We went to Charcoal for Thanksgiving dinner a couple of years ago, and I think it’s a solid option for dinner. They have two locations: one in Venice and one in West Hollywood. Charcoal is offering a pre-fixe menu for $125/person, and if you’re not a fan of turkey, you can opt for a slow-roasted prime rib as your protein for the evening. The earlier you can make the reservation, the better!

3. Black Angus Steakhouse

Are you looking for a delicious dinner on a budget? Black Angus Steakhouse will be open on Thanksgiving from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. and offer a Special Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner at just $11.99 for kids and $25.99 for adults.

Their Thanksgiving menu includes a choice of soup or salad, fresh roasted turkey, home-style mashed potatoes, sage dressing, fresh broccoli with garlic butter, roasted sweet potatoes, fresh cranberry sauce, and pumpkin pie with whipped cream.

4. The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills

At The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills, a special three-course Thanksgiving meal will be available at the hotel’s signature restaurant, Boxwood, on Thursday, November 23, from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

Boxwood should be on your shortlist if you’re looking for a restaurant with many options. Some highlights on the menu include Maine Scallop with curried lentils, kale, and coconut sauce, Pumpkin Squash Tortellini with Jerusalem Artichoke and Sage Cream, Tandoori-Spiced Cauliflower Steak with harissa and chickpea hummus and golden raisins, Braised Beef Short Ribs with porcini mushrooms and more.

5. Sendero

Looking for dinner with a view? Dining at The Ritz-Carlton in Downtown Los Angeles might be right up your alley! They have three restaurants on-site, and I think you’re getting an incredible deal at each. Sendero’s Agave Library has a $95 per person private multi-course dinner for up to 12 people, with turkey prepared three ways; at their Argentine Steakhouse Leña, you can enjoy a four-course meal for $90 per person. Lastly, you can enjoy a family-style dinner at Corteza for $85 per person.

6. The Hideaway

One of the absolute best deals I’ve found for Thanksgiving dinner is located in Beverly Hills, of all places. For only $55 per person, you can feast on a special turkey dinner at The Hideaway with all the fixings plus additional sides. The turkey dinner includes roasted turkey, marshmallow yams, garlic-whipped potatoes, wild mushroom gravy, herb stuffing, and Hideaway cranberry sauce. Available for dine-in only.

7. Mama Shelter

Mama Shelter is one of my favorite hotels as a local in Los Angeles, so it’s not surprising that they are cooking up something special for Thanksgiving. The downstairs restaurant of this boutique hotel has a $75/person prix fixe menu for Thanksgiving, including a choice of starter, main (options include classic turkey, salmon, or short rib), and dessert. With the set menu, you can go a traditional route (butternut squash soup, traditional turkey, pumpkin tiramisu) or mix it up with items including Pork Belly Ssam and Coconut Sorbet.

Mama’s Bar will be open with their regular menu for those who might not want a Thanksgiving meal or pre-set menu.
