5 Best Places for Thanksgiving Dinner in LA

5 Best Places for Thanksgiving Dinner in LA by top LA blogger, Alicia Tenise

After hosting Thanksgiving for the past two years at our home in Virginia and a cross-country move this year, we’ve decided that all we want to do this year is to go out to eat and let someone else do the cooking. Guys, we’re exhausted! Also, our LA apartment hardly has furniture due to all of the supply chain issues (but I should have a beautiful place come March!), so all in all, going out to eat makes the most sense for us this year.

We just made reservations to go out for Thanksgiving dinner in LA this past week, but it was so hard to choose just one dinner. There were so many incredible options! I also love that by going out to dinner this year; we’re able to switch things up and try non-traditional Thanksgiving dishes.

If you’re in LA and are also looking to enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner out, here are the five best places in town for Thanksgiving dinner.

Note: LA County currently requires proof of vaccination to dine indoors. There are no restrictions for outdoor seating. Make sure you have the proper documentation before dining out this holiday season!

1. Charcoal

Charcoal is ultimately where we decided to dine on Thanksgiving Day. They offer a pre-fixe Thanksgiving menu for $105/person, and I love how they offer classic Thanksgiving dishes with a twist — think praline pecan yams, smoked turkey with mushroom stuffing, and rosemary soup. Plus, if you’re not a fan of turkey, they also offer a slow-roasted prime rib.

Spaces are limited; reserve your spot for Thanksgiving here.

2. Etta

Outside of Thanksgiving, Etta is one of the best places in LA to enjoy fresh, homemade pasta. Technically, it’s a small chain, but it truly feels like a neighborhood staple. At Etta, you can either dine at their restaurant on Thanksgiving or order the entire meal to-go. Here, you’ll enjoy a 4-course meal for $95/person with classic Turkey picnic staples and Mediterranean specialties such as meatballs and olives.

Book your Thanksgiving reservation at Etta here.

3. Kali

Thanksgiving at a Michelin-starred restaurant? My friends: this is one dinner that I would definitely go for!

At Kali, you can enjoy a Thanksgiving dinner served family-style for $85/person (which honestly seems like a steal!) Some of the menu highlights include roasted heritage turkey, honey-sage cornbread, pumpkin risotto, and country-style ham.

You can book your reservation here.

4. Lunetta

If you’re gluten-free or pescetarian, Lunetta would be a fantastic option for Thanksgiving dinner. In addition to the classic Turkey dish, their Thanksgiving menu features black bass, crab cake, scallops, and more. Plus, they partner with California farms to bring the freshest farm to fork entrees.

Make your reservations for Lunetta here.

5. Fig

Located in the Fairmont Miramar Hotel, Fig offers two dine-in Thanksgiving options, as well as a to-go option. If you’re vegan, you’re in luck: they have a menu option for you that’s only $56/person, while the traditional Thanksgiving menu is $88/person. Some menu highlights include honey squash tortellini, cinderella pumpkin pie, and rosemary brined turkey.
