I know that I moved to California a couple of years ago, but the views here haven’t gotten old. Mountains? Beach? Cliffs? I hope I never get tired of it!
I haven’t left the state in several months, but I’m finally doing that whole travel blogger thing again and exploring places *outside* the state for a chance! Who would have thought?

When you think of California wine, you might think of Napa or Sonoma, but some of my favorite wineries in the state are on the Central Coast!
I made it to my slice of heaven, @holmanranch, this week — I joined their wine club last year, and every shipment has been flawless! I’m not typically a Pinot Noir girlie, but they do it flawlessly here, and every Pinot they produce has such unique flavor profiles.

I recently stayed at @carmelvranch, and it’s honestly an excellent fit for almost any type of traveler: families, foodies, nature enthusiasts, people who love luxury hotels…you name it!
• Booked via @hyatt points (my favorite hotel loyalty program)
• Only 15 minutes away from Carmel-by-the-Sea and 20 minutes from Monterey (but you honestly might not want to leave the resort 😉)
• Lots of activities to do around the resort — meeting the ranch animals, cheese and wine tastings, beekeeping experience, picking your own flowers, and much much more!
• Their on-site restaurant, The Valley Kitchen, was DELICIOUS. They use so many fresh ingredients from their ranch or local California producers — a true farm-to-table experience.
• Our room had an outdoor tub and a fireplace, which felt SO luxe!
