2015 Reader Survey Results

2015-reader-survey-resultsHey all! So, I actually wasn’t planning on making a post about my reader survey results: I didn’t think it would really interest anyone. However, as I was reading my reader survey, a bunch of you stated that you “couldn’t wait to see the results!” So here I am. Your wish is my command!

In my opinion, this survey was pretty interesting! I’m super, super happy that an overwhelming amount of feedback said that I’m personable/relatable. I’m pretty goofy IRL and I’m happy that my personality shines through on my little corner of the internet. I’m also stoked that I can provide attainable fashion inspiration for the everyday girl and show off my beautiful hometown of D.C. at the same time. Also, note to self: y’all are so-so on the fitness posts, but loving the outfit and interior design posts!

In hindsight, I wish I asked a few more questions such as how you stumbled upon this blog or what social media platforms you currently follow me on, but I was a cheapskate and didn’t upgrade my SurveyMonkey plan, so 10 questions were all I got! Oh well, maybe next time!

Didn’t get a chance to fill out the survey? I’ve left it open for a few more days if you feel inclined to leave any feedback 🙂 I’d love to hear from you!

Why do you read Alicia Tenise?

“Alicia introduced me to her blog when it was River City Chic back at VCU and I’ve been following ever since. I love checking out fashion posts that fit both office and night out environments. I’m always in search of stuff that I can wear both to work and a dinner with friends.”

“It’s relatable to me and my blog. I would love to be like you someday!”

“(Attainable) fashion inspiration”

“Because I’m so happy to read a blog from someone who looks like me!”

“Her outfits are cute and she comes off as a normal person, not a robot at all.”

This was a little intimidating cause these all are really phenomenal blogs. Clearly I have to keep my blogging game strong! It was also….very blonde for the most part! Time for me to dye my hair? (just kidding!)

Are there any other topics you’d like to see?

“Clothes on a budget” – Help me define “budget” a little better! A lot of pieces I feature here are around $50-125 which I consider pretty attainable for someone my age, however, if you’re looking for a certain price point let me know. I do consider myself to be on a budget, but I’ll invest in things like jeans, handbags, and a great pair of boots.

“Q/As”

“More posts that focus on interior design!” – They’re coming! 🙂

“Personal posts along with entertainment: music, film and TV related posts”

Most of you were completely fine with the content that I currently cover J

Anything else you’d like to add?

“Your blog is really fun and you really love pizza. Maybe you should do more reviews on pizza places since you seem to love it so much?”

Whoever wrote this, you my friend, are a genius. #AliciaLovesPizza
