Can you believe we’re halfway through August already? I’m in a bit of denial that summer is coming to an end, but I am super excited for all things fall fashion.

Our summers are getting hotter and longer, and here in the Mid-Atlantic, our “fall” is pretty short. It feels like it goes from 80 degrees to 40 degrees overnight! I’ll never forget in November of 2017, I went on an 11-day trip, and it was 75 degrees the day I left, and it dropped to 45 degrees the day I came back. Sometimes, we just go straight from summer to winter!

So, how do you dress for fall when it’s still a bajillion degrees out? I love all things leopard fashion because it’s a trend that you can wear year-round. If you purchase anything leopard right now, it will transition from summer to fall with ease.

Here are ten leopard fashion pieces that can carry you to the next season, make sure to scroll down to the end of the post to see them all!

Top 10 Cute Leopard Fashion Pieces to Wear Throughout the Year:

Leopard Print Long Sleeve Chiffon Dress

I don’t know about you, but I’ve reached the point of summer where I just want to throw on something and head out of the door! I’m all about comfortable dresses and comfy shoes right about now.

I love this little leopard mini dress for summer and fall. I’d wear it now with a pair of sneakers or wedges, and pair it with a denim jacket and over the knee boots once it gets a bit chillier out. I love how versatile this dress is, and you can easily dress it down for casual weekend hangouts with friends, or dress it up for date night.

Leopard Print Button Back Top

As much as I want to wear my leopard cardigan from the Nordstrom sale right about now…it is still 90 degrees. And it’s going to be in the 80/90s here for a long time!

Since I won’t be able to wear a sweater in the near future, I’m opting for breezy t-shirts that will get me through the hottest days of the season. I love this leopard tee because it has a super cute button-back detail, and it looks great with jeans, shorts, and skirts.

You can wear this shirt later on in the season layered under a cardigan or a jacket!

Mayah Leopard Midi Skirt

Ah: the leopard midi skirt. A trend so popular that it even has its own Instagram account.

All jokes aside, leopard midi skirts are super versatile and flattering. You can wear them now with a t-shirt and sneakers, and the end result is a comfortable, yet stylish summer OOTD. If you want to wear this piece into fall, pair it with a cropped sweater, your favorite ankle boots, and a jacket.

I love the colors on this particular skirt — I prefer the lighter, grey tones here; it’s a little bit of a switch up from the leopard midi that you see everywhere!

Bel Point Toe Booties

I picked up a pair of Dolce Vita leopard print ankle booties last year, and it was easily one of my favorite purchases of the year. Leopard print booties will add a little bit of oomph to any outfit!

Ankle booties are also fantastic for those in-between seasons. You can wear them now with dresses, skirts, and shorts, and pair them with your jeans and leggings later on in the fall.

Plus, if you have any festivals coming up, these would be a solid bet!

Lottie Leopard Print Jeans

Another trend I spotted while I was shopping the Nordstrom sale earlier this month? Leopard print jeans.

I’m really digging this trend for fall and winter. Regular denim gets a little dull and repetitive, especially once you hit January/February. You know, when it’s too cold to wear your skirts and dresses, and you reach for a pair of pants day after day.

You can wear these leopard print jeans now with a blouse and sandals, and pair them with ankle booties and a sweater once it starts to get chilly out.

Sleeveless belted sheath dress in leopard

Leopard? In the workplace? Sign me up, my friends!

Jazz up your 9-5 wardrobe this fall, and opt for a chic leopard sheath dress. I love that the print of this is subtle enough for even the most conservative of offices, and the cut is incredibly flattering.

You can wear this gorgeous dress now with a pair of heels and your favorite work tote, and pair it with a cardigan/blazer and tights later. It’s is a timeless dress that you can wear season after season, and a fantastic investment piece!

Leopard Wrap Front Long Sleeve Bodysuit

You guys: leopard fashion doesn’t always have to be a neutral!

If you’re a color lover like I am, you’ll appreciate a good colored, leopard printed piece whenever you come by one. I am really digging this ASTR The Label bodysuit: the jewel tones are gorgeous, and perfect for fall!

Pair this bodysuit with your favorite pair of shorts for a summer night out, or wear them with your favorite pair of jeans for a casual fall look. The possibilities with this top are endless!

Leopard-Print Cotton Poplin Shorts

The leopard shorts you see in the photos above? Yup, I’ve been wearing them nonstop this summer! They’re also currently on sale and still available in a handful of sizes.

I found a similar pair of shorts that are cotton, and are currently available in all sizes. They even have a matching blazer if you want to opt for a fun short suit set! I’ve been wearing my leopard shorts with t-shirts during the day and blouses for date night, and this pair of shorts would also look adorable paired with sweaters later on this season.

Cheetah-Printed Knotted Headband

Ok, so this is technically a cheetah print here, but it’s still super chic and on-trend for fall!

If the idea of wearing a full-on animal print overwhelms you, try out an accessory first. I love this knotted headband (which is under $20!) because it’s a super cute, yet subtle way to wear the leopard trend. Plus, it’s a fantastic accessory that can pull any look together.

Since it’s multicolored, it will look great with any hair color, light or dark!

Pippa Bow-Tied Bag

While we’re chatting about accessories, let’s discuss all things leopard handbags. I have a few leopard bags in my closet, and I absolutely adore them, because they can jazz up a simple outfit.

I’m crushing on this bag from Anthropologie at the moment: it’s under $60 and is the perfect bag to start carrying now. I’m in denial that I’m going to have to stop carrying my beloved wicker bags come Labor Day, but leopard bags are a great piece to start carrying in the late months of summer, and they will still be a fit throughout fall and winter.
